Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Highbridge Sparrow Civic Services supports public agencies in Raleigh with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 87 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
