Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Bright Stone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Omaha working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
