Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Ironwood Rowan Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Sacramento, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about case files. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
