Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Summit Field Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Detroit and nearby communities, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about pipe repairs. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
