Fernwood Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Providence. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about survey data. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
