Content Writer - help-centre articles (Providence, RI)

Bright Keystone Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Providence. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 127 people based in Providence. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about route schedules. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
