Content Writer - help-centre articles (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Willow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Providence supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about food distribution. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
