Content Writer - help-centre articles (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Redstone Orchard Transit Planning Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Portland. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about survey data. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
