Content Writer - help-centre articles (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Maple Community Partners Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of about 472 people based in Portland. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
