Content Writer - help-centre articles (Portland, OR)

Cedar Glen Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Portland, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Portland. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
