Content Writer - help-centre articles (Portland, OR)

Westbrook Ashton Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Portland. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
