Content Writer - help-centre articles (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Birch Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Portland design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
