Content Writer - help-centre articles (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Meadow Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in New Orleans, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about repair requests. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
