Content Writer - help-centre articles (Knoxville, TN)

Amberfield Glen Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Knoxville with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
