Content Writer - help-centre articles (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Northwind Umber Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
