Content Writer - help-centre articles (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in Houston supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in Houston. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about donor records. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
