Harborlight Ember Community Partners runs community programmes across Hartford. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
