Content Writer - help-centre articles (Fresno, CA)

Nova Lakeside Civic Services supports public agencies in Fresno with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
