Content Writer - help-centre articles (Fresno, CA)

Fernwood Bridge Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Fresno area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about outage reports. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
