Bluepeak Fern Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Detroit. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about route schedules. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
