Bright Kestrel Press Group produces print and digital publications in Des Moines. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
