Content Writer - help-centre articles (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Thistle Community Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
