Content Writer - help-centre articles (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Meadow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Chicago supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
