Content Writer - help-centre articles (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Amber Press is a printer and publisher in Chicago serving local and national clients, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
