Content Writer - help-centre articles (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar Union Civic Services works with county and city offices around Charlotte, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
