Content Writer - help-centre articles (Boston, MA)

Bright Oak Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Boston design routes and schedules, and we need a Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
