Content Writer - help-centre articles (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Umber Legal Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client files. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
