Content Writer - help-centre articles (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Clear Energy and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about usage data. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
