Content Writer - case studies (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Umber Civic Services supports public agencies in Sacramento with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on case studies. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
