Content Writer - case studies (remote)

Bluepeak Cedar Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Chicago area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on case studies. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about outage reports. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
