Content Writer - case studies (remote)

Ironwood Field Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Buffalo area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on case studies. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about capital projects. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
