Content Writer - case studies (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Drift Civic Services and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be case studies. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
