Content Writer - case studies (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Yarrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Oakland presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on case studies. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about exhibitions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
