Lumen River Press produces print and digital publications in Kansas City. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on case studies. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about print quotes. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
