Content Writer - case studies (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Rowan Civic Services supports public agencies in Houston with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our case studies. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
