Content Writer - case studies (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Beacon Community Partners is a Detroit charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Content Writer to lead our case studies. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
