Content Writer - case studies (Birmingham, AL)

Cedar Corner Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Birmingham and nearby communities. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on case studies. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about pipe repairs. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
