Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (remote)

Harborlight Umber Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Chicago. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for service installations. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
