Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Harbor Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for hardship programmes. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
