Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Nova Cross Civic Services Group and adding a Compliance Analyst whose main responsibility will be training and awareness. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for budget submissions. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
