Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Houston, TX)

Clearpath Thistle Insurance is looking for a Compliance Analyst. The job centres on training and awareness for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for underwriting files. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
