Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Hartford, CT)

Nova Rowan Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Hartford with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for service complaints. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
