Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Hartford with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for collection routes. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
