Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Hartford, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our training and awareness. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for fleet maintenance. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
