Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Detroit, MI)

Fernwood Oak Foods is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for ingredient orders. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
