Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Iron Insurance is an insurance company in Des Moines with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for claims. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
