Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Pine Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Birmingham. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for payment disputes. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
