Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Ashton Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Birmingham with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our training and awareness. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for recycling loads. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
