Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Rowan Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around San Jose. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on regulatory reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for fleet maintenance. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
