Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Timber Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Jose, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our regulatory reporting. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for catastrophe response. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
